  2. Second Option – Your hotel to Ella via Udawalawa safari. This is a good option if you’re traveling to the upcountry.
  3. Third Option – If you’re returning to your hotel, we can arrange a day excursion from Mirissa or any City

Many travelers select the second option because the safari in Udawalawa National Park is only 4 hours long.

  • We have two safari sessions. Start at 4 am and 11.30 am from Mirissa and other cities.

Receive an early-morning pickup from your hotel in mirissa,weligama, Galle,Hikkaduwa and drive for three hours to the entrance of Udawalawe National Park. You’ll enter the park in the early morning hours to beat the crowds and to scout for animals when they’re at their most active. Spend the day searching for Udawalwe’s collection of Leopard elephants, crocodiles, birds, and various species of exotic plant life. You’ll transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon, arriving back at your hotel around 4pm.
